Uni is a fintech brand founded by Nitin Gupta (ex-CEO Ola Financial, PayU) and backed by investors such as Accel and Lightspeed. It has raised a seed-round of $18.5 MN. Uni will build products that reinvent the credit experience for millions of Indians.

 

Aimed at young users, the brand introduces a new paradigm around credit - simple, transparent and technology-first. Opposite worked closely with the founding team at Uni to create a bold identity and visual language that reflects the optimism and user-focus of the brand.

 

The identity is anchored by a simple, bold custom-built typemark with a turquoise dot as an exponent. Sophisticated and minimal, the logo is a starting point for a visual language that carries forward the upbeat and optimistic tone of the brand.

 

The fresh color palette uses a combination of Turquoise and a Sunny Yellow as the primary colors, creating easy recall in a world of blue and maroon financial brands. The design system is simple, built around the use of the brand colors to create a consistent experience across the credit card, app, marketing and more.
