Tea Trunk is one of India’s first Tea Brands founded and run by a Tea Sommelier. They work with farmers to create unique blends using only the highest quality ingredients. Their teas ship to more than 15 countries.
While conceptualizing the brand, a cursory look at the “holier-than-thou” tea brands was enough to nudge us into positioning Tea Trunk as a brand that would make gourmet tea accessible and approachable. Most tea brands attempt to create an unnecessary (atleast in our opinion) snobbery around tea. Another challenge was to build a global brand that would work across geographies.
With a fun and accessible positioning, we set about translating this into a visual identity that was playful, flexible and memorable. The elephant mascot in the logo created a visual language that effortlessly extended the brand across the packaging, marketing communication, website and events, driving instant engagement and long-term brand recall for Indian and international audiences.
