Kaficko, one of Hyderabad’s most popular home-grown restaurants, wanted to reinvent itself for a new generation of patrons. We reimagined the brand inside out – starting with the food and beverage offering and culminating into the visual language and the design of the cafe itself.
We started by articulating the vibe of the new cafe and translating it to the core offering, the food. In collaboration with the founder, we crafted a contemporary menu, transforming the earlier multi-cuisine restaurant into a decidedly European cafe. This set the tone for the transformation of the brand and the design of the cafe space.
The bold and unexpected use of color and typography, established in the visual language of the brand, is beautifully extended to the menu. Each page of the menu is a visual treat, rather than a templated list of food and prices.
Apart from the main menu (which includes our suggestions for Butter Coffee, Baked Brie and Nitro Coffee), we also created a new concept – Coffee of the Month. A monthly special featuring coffee from one of the major coffee growing regions of the world, every month.
