Kaipoche

Kaipoche is our annual kite-flying festival. While it is a small event, we were itching to make a beautiful website with all the new technologies we were learning. So we decided to go all out and make a website that we’d be proud of.

We started by making a paper scribble of how the entire experience will be choreographed. We wanted to recreate the magic of kite-flying on the web and bring it alive. For this website, we’ve used parallax techniques and SVG animations extensively.

The most difficult part was making it all work uniformly across browsers.

Kaipoche.co has been featured on many web design platforms as an example of innovative web design. It has also been nominated for the Awwwards.com “Site of the Day”.
