Brand Squeeze for The Ken

The Ken is a new, digital-first, subscription-only publication. We worked with them a couple of years back to build the User Experience and Design a publishing system.

 

When they decided to launch Weekend Stories, The Ken approached up to define the editorial art style for these stories and design the first four stories.

 

“The Big Brand Squeeze” is an insightful piece on how the digital economy has upended how brands are built. From Amazon’s 50+ in-house brands globally to Myntra’s giant fashion brands.

 

We took an usual approach to visualize this story – Internet Memes! A story heavy with data and insight became an easy read, with visual and comic relief.
